DR. CHRISTOPHER JONES is Vice President, Public Affairs with the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, the national private-sector advocate for Canada’s $70.6 billion tourism sector. Chris came to TIAC from the Railway Association of Canada, where he served as Director of Government Relations for five years. His previous experience includes working as a lobbyist for an Ottawa firm representing aerospace and high technology companies, as an analyst for Citicorp Investment Bank in London, as a lecturer in European Politics at the American University of Paris, as a writer in the Trade and Foreign Policy Communications Bureaux of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, and as an advisor to several Cabinet Ministers in the early 1980s. He has written articles for various publications, including The Globe and Mail and Policy Options, and guest-lectured at the Universities of Ottawa, Carleton, & Waterloo and the Canada School of Public Service.
DR. RACHEL DODDS has over 17 years of experience in the tourism industry and is a specialist in sustainable tourism. Rachel is currently the Director of Sustaining Tourism, a consultancy firm as well as an Assistant Professor at Ryerson University in Toronto.  She has worked in all facets of the tourism industry including tour operators, hotels, governments, NGO's and small businesses. Her experience includes working with the World Bank, European Union, Caribbean Tourism Organization, International Business Leaders Forum's International Tourism Partnership, WWF as well as Canadian experience with tour operators and Toronto's Green Tourism Association.
PAMELA LAITE is an enthusiastic advocate for sustainable tourism practices and strategic destination marketing. She focuses much of her energy and talents building strong relationships with stakeholders (by striving to be a valuable resource for her members and industry partners). Since 2003, she has been an integral part of the senior management team as Director, Member Care, for Tourism Toronto (the official destination marketing organization for the greater Toronto region). Recently she accepted a part time instructor position at George Brown College in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management’s Special Events division. Before her tenure at Tourism Toronto she was the General Manager for Attractions Ontario (a not for profit trade association). Prior to that time, she worked front line in the hospitality industry in the U.K., the South Pacific and eastern Canada. 
DR. JAMES GRAY DONALD is the Associate Vice-President & Sustainability Leader, Sears Canada.  His role is to develop a roadmap for Sears Canada to become a leader in sustainability, help maintain a culture that supports this position in the marketplace and consult with internal teams and external organizations to implement appropriate programs and processes for the Company. Prior to joining Sears, James was Research Coordinator at the Centre for Sustainable Futures (University of Plymouth, U.K.) which had the largest financial support in the world, from a government, to research the integration of sustainability inside a university. James is a also trustee with Earthlinks, a U.K.-based charity, and serves on the curriculum committee for the proposed Environment and Urban Sustainability program at Ryerson University.
DR. SONYA GRACI is a specialist in sustainable tourism, corporate sustainability and environmental management and has over 15 years experience in these fields. Dr. Graci is currently an Assistant Professor at the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Ryerson University. She's also the Director of Accommodating Green, an environmental consulting organization that works with organizations to integrate sustainability in business operations.
